I love beauty and the beauty of language. I write in a lyrical style that is clear and understandable. I write about lots of different things. The places and animals of my native Australia are important to me. You can find some examples in “Earth Music”, available on this website as a free download. I am also intensely interested in areas of social justice. Indigenous issues form part of this. The environment and relationships are also fundamental concerns.
My poetry has appeared in many places, both online and in hard-copy. I am a Contributing Editor at Verse-Virtual, an online poetry journal. Other places include Peacock Journal, Prosopisia, Poetry Quarterly, The Poeming Pigeon, Autumn Sky Daily, The Second Genesis:An Anthology of Contemporary World Poetry, Rat’s Ass Review, Silver Birch Press, The Bees Are Dead, Blue Heron Review, Poets Reading the News, New Verse News and naturewriting.
My chapbook, “Earth Music”, was published by Praxis Magazine Online in 2020. Loving Leah was published by Kelsay Books in 2020 and the same publisher has accepted Rock Dreaming for publication.
